FT/P7-25 Advanced Computational Tools and Methods for Nuclear Analyses of Fusion Technology Systems

چکیده

An overview is presented of advanced computational tools and methods developed recently for nuclear analyses of Fusion Technology systems such as the experimental device ITER (”International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor”) and the intense neutron source IFMIF (”International Fusion Material Irradiation Facility”). These include Monte Carlo based computational schemes for the calculation of three-dimensional shut-down dose rate distributions, methods, codes and interfaces for the use of CAD geometry models in Monte Carlo transport calculations, algorithms for Monte Carlo based sensitivity/uncertainty calculations, as well as computational techniques and data for IFMIF neutronics and activation calculations.
